About EOR.net.au
Independent information for businesses weighing up an Employer of Record in Australia.

Why this site exists
Most information about Employers of Record is written by the providers selling the service. That is useful, but it rarely tells you what to watch out for. EOR.net.au explains how EOR arrangements work under Australian law, what drives the cost and how to compare providers, so you can make the decision with clear eyes.
How we write
- Official sources first. Every figure on this site is checked against Australian government sources such as the Fair Work Ombudsman, the ATO, state revenue offices and the Department of Home Affairs. Each guide lists its sources.
- No provider rankings. We do not name or rank EOR providers, and nobody pays to be featured.
- Plain English. If a term needs explaining, it is in the glossary.
- Kept current. Figures were last checked on 23 October 2026.
Not advice
This site provides general information only. It is not legal, tax, financial or immigration advice, and it does not take your circumstances into account. For decisions about a specific worker, speak to a qualified employment lawyer, accountant or registered migration agent.
